Mystery?

Some months ago I saw this piece of art at the 2007 Documenta in Kassel. It struck me as being quite impressive, in the way it was “draped” on its pedestal.
Only later I saw on a postcard an image of the same sculpture, before it had collapsed. I somehow still suspect the artist (of whom I have forgotten the name) of purposely destroying it… I guess I’ll never find out.

I’ve been there also..
the story is that it is wood from old houses.
but the ‘funny’ thing is that the structure was made out of the old wood from structures/houses which where collapsed during storms and the like..
