Viewer tracking in Quake

Been busy writing a modification for Quake3 using OpenCV to do face detection. The idea is to change the perspective on the game depending on at what angle you look at the screen.

It already works quite nicely, as you can see in the video. Note: skip to about 20% as youtube b0rked the first part of the video… :(

Of course, it is not finished; it should go much smoother and made more realistic by tuning the parameters. It’s been a long time doing trigonometry and matrix multiplications…… but I ‘ll manage.
