Status page

http://10.0.0.90/

This shows a status page with the following items:

Active devices
A list of which devices are active: bluetooth devices that have been found in the last scanning round.
Active schedules
The list of the files that are currently available for being sent to the devices.
Recent devices
Bluetooth devices that were seen by the spammer in the past, but are not necesarily visible right now.
Last succesful transfers
A list of the 10 latest succesful transfers of a file to a device.
Log
The log: shows which files were offered to which devices, and the exit status of this offering.
Blacklisted
A list of devices which are currently on the blacklist. Devices can enter the blacklist after they have denied or not responded to an offering of a file. If they keep denying files, the blacklisted period will gradually become longer, in the end as long as one day. Also, after a succesful transfer a device is blacklisted for a couple of minutes, allowing the receiving party to view the file before it is offered the next.

NOTE: if you clear the log (on the status page, ´clear log' button), the spammer forgets everything about which file has been sent to who. After clearing the log, the spammer will offer every active schedule to every device again. Use this button with care, as it wipes out all transfer data, which could later be used for statistical purposes.

Admin

http://10.0.0.90/admin/

The admin gives access to uploading of files. After logging in, you'll see a list of options.

groups
Access to group management
users
Managing users for extra access to the admin
Blacklists
Managing blacklists: You can for example add a device longer to the blacklist by editing its entry here.
Channels
A simple list which controls how many simultaneous actions will be done. By default there are 5 channels: this is enough for the eBox configuration; if you enter more the device will become more slow.
Devices
The list of devices seen by the spammer. This is updated automatically and should not be edited by hand.
Interface names
A list of names. Defaults to one entry only, 'MobileVideoNet'. Before each time the scanner scans the network, it randomly chooses one name from the interface names list and sets its name to the value entered.
Schedules
The actual list of files to be offered. See below.

Schedules

Every file which is offered, is called a "schedule", for historical reasons. In the past, you could define a schedule in which you could specify from when until when a file should be offered, but in the latest version that functionality has been removed.

After adding a file, the spammer will immediately start offering the file to the devices it sees, and it will keep doing that until the file is removed. The spammer will remember which file it has sent to who, and will not offer a file to a device more than once, unless you use the "clear log" functionality on the status page.
